Shaping Experiences

Senior Product (UX) Designer · 10+ Years

Background

I'm Pierce, a Senior Product Designer with 10+ years designing complex B2C and B2B SaaS platforms across a range of markets, currently based in the UK.

I'm currently a UX Designer at Inspired Group, owning UX strategy end-to-end across King's InterHigh, Academy21 and USPA, serving users across the UK, US, and UAE. Alongside that, I'm Lead Product Designer (part-time) at FateDate, a pre-launch dating app startup, where I've shaped the product vision, monetisation strategy and design system from the ground up.

Before that, I spent three years at Unity, a Leicester design agency, delivering 20+ cross-platform products end-to-end, and before that, designing UX for Avakin Life at Lockwood Publishing, a social simulation game with 20M+ downloads. My earliest years were spent at Stream Studios, where I first built the front-end and user-centred design foundations I still lean on today.

I approach design the same way I approach music production: start with a clear structure, layer in the details that create emotional resonance, then refine until it feels effortless. Whether I'm building high-stakes enrolment funnels, designing AI teaching tools, or creating ambient guitar tracks in my studio, I'm driven by the challenge of making complexity disappear.

Interests

Beyond Design

Outside of design, I spend a lot of time making music. It started as a way to unwind after long design sessions, but over the years it's become a second creative language for me.

I write and produce tracks that range from ambient textures to heavier, guitar-driven pieces, often drawing inspiration from the same sense of rhythm, flow, and balance that drives my design work.

For me, music is another way of exploring interaction: how sounds layer, resolve, and surprise in the same way interfaces guide, inform, and inspire.

Selected Tracks

Let's work together.

I'm open to senior, lead, and founding-team roles, and selected freelance engagements where design can make a real commercial difference.
