I'm a Senior UX/Product Designer with 10+ years who operates at two levels simultaneously: precise craft and strategic thinking. I don't just design screens; I think about the full context a product exists in and consistently act on it.
Most designers at my level can show polished work and back it with data. What's rarer is that I actively identify problems and opportunities that sit outside my remit: commercial gaps, business model risks, competitive blind spots. I've done this repeatedly and can evidence it.
My portfolio reflects both: design case studies that show process, decisions, and measurable impact, and a product strategy section that shows me thinking like a founder, validating markets, identifying risks, and influencing direction before a pixel is placed.

Built a working ML prototype for real-time sign language recognition. Validated the market, scoped the product, and pitched it independently. Reached BBC Apprentice interview stage. Employer subsequently explored as an R&D initiative.

GEO: AI Search Visibility
Identified the school was absent from AI-generated search results. Researched the gap, mapped the commercial impact, and pitched a GEO content strategy targeting parent anxieties directly.
